On coming to Singapore, she worked with Active Chiropractic for about a year before taking an extended break to focus on having children of her own, Matthew, born in November 2003 and Mia, born November 2005.

During this time, Fiona progressed in her interest in specializing in paediatrics by embarking on studies for an additional Masters Degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics, which is still in progress. She remained "hands on" in chiropractic practice during this period by treating her children, relatives, close friends and their children. Fiona has now resumed active practice on a part time basis with Elder Chiropractic, Monday and Friday mornings.

Fiona has a special heart for pregnant women, babies and children as she understands their needs and how chiropractic can favorably impact them first hand. Her gentleness and thoroughness in her approach are the qualities that her patients seek.
